PhD students
Tadeáš NEČAS
Tadeáš is a PhD student (Masaryk University, Brno) devoting his efforts to study diversity and systematics of puddle frogs (Phrynobatrachus) and afrobatrachian frogs (main focus on Arthroleptidae and Hyperoliidae).
František SNÍTILÝ
František is a PhD student (Masaryk University, Brno) focusing his research on the systematics and taxonomy of squeaker frogs (Arthroleptis) from Central Africa.
Matej DOLINAY
Matej is a PhD student (Masaryk University, Brno) studying phylogeography and species diversification in small leaf-litter frogs of Central Africa (Phrynobatrachus, Arthroleptis).
His general interests cover vertebrate evolution and ecology with special interests in herpetology. He is also very interested in tropical ecosystems and their rich biodiversity, especially the Afrotropic ecozone including Madagascar.
Apart from research Matej is an enthusiast for popularization of science, a keen photographer and cameraman of nature, and a wildlife guide whenever the time allows.
Matej is online as Living Zoology:
